Our proposal involves at its heart a new community hub and public space in the form of a Village Green. The Village Green provides a focal point for community activity aimed at encouraging social cohesion and interaction with the surrounding community. The proposal involves a clear hierarchy of open space and transition between the public and private realms. The streets and lanes connect the wider area with the Village Green and the Community Hub at the heart of the proposal.
